Vantage Video Camera ("the app") is published by Sunday Chinedu Afoka. The app turns a phone into a wireless camera for the Vantage Video Switcher, used to send live video to a switcher computer over a local network. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with your data.
The app collects nothing, creates no account, and sends nothing to us or to the internet. It streams live video only to a switcher computer on the same local Wi-Fi network, and only while you are connected to it. The developer has no servers and cannot see, store, or access your video.
The app uses your device camera to send a live video stream to a Vantage switcher on your local network. This happens only after you connect to a switcher (by scanning its code or entering its address) and only for as long as you remain connected. The video is not recorded on your phone, is not uploaded to any server, and does not travel over the internet. Recording, if any, happens on the switcher computer, which is operated by your own organisation — not by the developer.
The app communicates only with a switcher computer on the same Wi-Fi network, using a direct peer-to-peer connection. It does not connect to the internet to function. No usage data, analytics, or telemetry is transmitted.
To make reconnecting easier, the app stores a small amount of information on your device only:
This information never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
None. The app has no account system, no analytics, and no connection to any server operated by the developer. The developer does not collect, receive, or have any ability to access your video, your device information, or your activity.
The app is a tool for operating audio-visual equipment and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised date above.
